|Andy Warhol’s Cow in Queens?|
The Amazing Maize Maze at the Queens County Farm
Fridays – Sundays
Sept. 17 – Oct. 31, 2021
|An amazing engineering feat has transformed Andy Warhol’s Cow in to the Amazing Maize Maze, a 3-acre corn labyrinth at the Queens County Farm Museum. The Amazing Maize Maze sponsored by Con Edison is open every Friday – Sunday beginning September 17 through Halloween.|
The maze adventure begins with a Stalk Talk to prepare visitors for the 3-acre challenge to find their way to Victory Bridge where the full vista of Warhol’s Cow is revealed.“Land really is the best art.” – Andy Warhol
|“Andy Warhol’s creative enterprise was intended to reach the masses. He would surely be pleased that his Cow image has been presented in museums and galleries and now is making its first appearance in a cornfield,” stated Patrick Moore, Director of The Andy Warhol Museum|
Add a stop at the farm’s acclaimed Farmstand to your farm visit, enjoy a hayride, or scoop up apple cider donuts, pies and cider. Queens Farm’s Pumpkin Patch opens daily beginning October 1st through Halloween, culminating with the farm’s famed Halloween on the Farm party.
For an extra challenge, you can experience the Maze by Moonlight on Saturday, Oct. 2 & 23 and Thursday, Oct. 28.

Isn’t this not fantastic? Being with each other back at school?
We are determined to keep our school going strong and the kids thriving above and beyond what we can imagine for them.
Please take a minute and review the letter below and connect with the PTA, support the PTA, and let us know YOU ARE HERE!
Mr. Annello from MS67 LOUIS PASTEUR MIDDLE SCHOOL has sent you a message:
26Q067 | 9/14/2021 7:50:25 AM
Dear MS 67Q School Community,
We would like to thank all of our students, staff members, and parents for making our first day back yesterday a success. We wanted to update you with a number of updates and reminders as we continue on during our first week:
Completing the Health Screening on a Daily Basis
We understand there were concerns with access the digital Health Screening Survey yesterday morning. In addition, this problem may continue especially each morning closer to our 8:00am start time. As a reminder, please use one of the following methods to complete the daily Health Screening.
a. Complete the survey digitally by signing in as a student at the following link:
You will then be able to print out or show the proof that you have completed it on a phone/device.
b. If you are having trouble logging in, you can sign in as a guest and print out or show the proof that you have completed it on a phone/device.
c. Print out the Health Screening survey (attached to this email) and bring it filled out on a daily basis.
Yesterday, we printed hard copies of the survey and gave them out during PM homeroom. We are asking all students to complete the Health Screening survey before arriving in the morning if possible.
Entry and Dismissal Reminders
The school day for students is 8:00am-2:20pm daily. Students will continue to enter and exit the building according to their grade levels- grade 6 (main entrance), grade 7 (recess ramp entrance on South side of the building), grade 8 (breakfast ramp entrance on North side of the building). Entry will begin just prior to 8:00am daily, and students are asked to line up in three lines outside of each entrance. If interested, students will be able to get “grab-n-go” breakfast at each entrance.
Digital Blue Emergency Cards
Please note this year we will not be giving out hard copy blue emergency cards. Instead, we are asking all parents to utilize the following link to fill out the digital version of the blue emergency card:
If you are filling out the card with one parent’s information, you should leave the information for the other parent/guardian completely blank. Also, if you need assistance you can send an email or call for assistance using the following information:
Info@myhealth.us and (844)411-4101
Please take time to fill out the blue card electronically as soon as possible so that our school has access to updated emergency contact information to start the year. By filling out the cards digitally, it will allow us to access and store blue card information securely. Also, in the event of an emergency evacuation situation or a school closure in the future, hard copy blue cards wouldn’t have to be carried to another location or taken out of the building by a staff member.
Vaccinations Available at Our School
This upcoming week, a pop-up vaccination site will be established at our school from 12:00pm-5:00pm on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday. Attached is a flyer and a letter regarding the opportunity this week. If you are planning to have your child vaccinated, please plan to be present with your child. Also, we are expecting to pause having the personnel administer vaccinations during the few minutes around dismissal 2:20pm.
Updating Vaccination Status
Families are encouraged to record their student’s vaccination status in the DOE’s COVID-19 Vaccination Portal at: https://vaccine.schools.nyc. Submitting this information will support New York City’s pandemic response and recovery efforts, and help ensure that DOE schools and buildings remain safe places for all students and staff.
PupilPath Invitation Letters and ms67q.com Email Addresses
All grade 6 students and newly-admitted students to our school should receive PupilPath invitation letters this week. Students and parents must register separately for PupilPath using the access information in the letter so that communication between students and teachers and between parents and teachers can be kept separate if needed.
Consent Form for Bi-Weekly Testing
During the school year, COVID-19 testing will take bi-weekly for 10% of the unvaccinated school population. Updated consent is needed for this school year, and you can give consent through your child’s New York City Schools Account. If you already have a NYCSA account linked to your student(s): Log in, click your student’s name, click “Manage Account,” and then when a dropdown menu appears, click “Consent Forms.” Read the page, and then choose the consent option at the end for your student. If you do not already have a NYCSA account: You can create one right away! If you have an account creation code from your school, you can create a full account in approximately five minutes, and then provide consent as described above. If you do not have an account creation code from your school, you can still provide your consent right away by clicking “Manage Consent” under “COVID-19 Testing” and filling out your and your child’s information to provide consent. If needed, you can submit updated consent by filling out and returning the form from the link below to the main office:
Thank you, and information about our first Coffee and Conversation meeting this Friday, September 17 at 9:00am will be sent later today. Enjoy the day!
