Our PTA supports and values all the students and families who are part of our neighborhoods, our city, and our country.
Our PTA condemns all racial slurs, violence and hateful acts.
Our PTA is here to learn and to support our children and families.
We encourage all parents to have conversations with their children, and reach out to the PTA should you need additional resources or support.

From Assistant Principal Rizzo:
This year due to the Covid restrictions, all photos for the yearbook will be done remotely. There will be no in person photos. As a result, there will be no photo packages to purchase at this time. However, we want to try to make the school year as “normal” as possible based on the current circumstances. One way is to still proceed with a yearbook and school photos.
Due to this, the Irvin Simon Photo Company has a platform (Pictavo) to upload your own photos to be inserted into the yearbook. Please see the attached PDF to create an account (note the file usually opens on a computer, not a cell phone). When creating an account, you may need to use an alternate email address from the MS67 one due to the G-suite security features.
We are asking students in grade 6 and 7 to upload an individual photo (from the chest up) into the system by January 28. 8 grade students will upload their individual photos (from the chest up) by March 11 due to waiting for the delivery of the caps/gowns. When uploading a photo, please use the following file name format: LastName_FirstName_HR#. So for example, Pasteur_Louis_825. Due to social distancing and various cohort days, there will not be a whole HR class photo.
When you log in, you will see three folders that you can upload photos. The “remote individual photo” folder will be for all three grades. The folder for “baby photos” and “outside events/sports” will be only for grade 8 students. 8 graders can upload these photos earlier. Photos may also be used for a possible virtual graduation if needed.
Lastly, if you have not done so already, please submit the Photo Consent Form (also attached) to Ms. Jenny Cho (XCho@schools.nyc.gov) ASAP. Please use the following file name format when sending: LastName_FirstName_HR#.

Monitoring Progress for This Quarter
This past Monday, March 1, 2021, grades were updated on PupilPath by our teachers. Please note you can check your child’s progress on PupilPath across subject areas to better understand the progress your child is making academically. Please note the third quarter ends on Friday, March 26, 2021. Students should expect to hand in their Independent Work assignments and/or complete Assessments in advance of that date.
March Parent-Teacher Conferences
We are planning to utilize the Canyon Creek Scheduling Software for our March Parent-Teacher Conferences. These conferences will be held on:
Wednesday, March 10, 2021 (5:00pm-7:30pm)
Thursday, March 11, 2021 (12:00pm-2:00pm)
We are expecting that Thursday, March 11, 2021 will be a half-day for all students (periods 1-3), and the day will conclude at 11:00am. The portal to sign up for appointments will open at 7:00am on Friday, March 5, 2021.
Weekly COVID-19 Testing
Today (Wednesday, March 3rd), weekly COVID-19 was conducted. Testing will continue once a week, and students and staff will be given a one-page flyer after being tested. School staff will continue to be present while students and staff are being tested so that support can be provided.
